Medical Services
The College provides health care services to staff and students at the Medical Centre which is situated on the Campus. The Centre operates a 24-hour service for both students and staff from Monday to Sunday and public holidays inclusive. Minor cases of sickness are treated at the Centre while serious ones are normally referred to state hospital at the expense of the student’s sponsor.
Routine Operating Hours (Monday – Friday)
Students 7.30 – 10.00 a.m.
Staff 10.00 – 12.30 p.m.
Students & Staff 12.30 – 7.30 p.m.
Drugs
Only available drugs will be given to patients. Patients may be required to purchase drugs that are out of stock for their own use. Only first aid cases are entertained at the clinic. Serious medical problems shall be referred to government hospital at the student’s expense.
Medical Test
All new students must undergo a comprehensive medical test under an arrangement coordinated by the Medical Centre with a specified medical test fee. Students are also required to submit a comprehensive history of their sickness from their private doctors when occasion demands. Mere sick leave papers are not acceptable.
