Admission Entry Requirements
NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND)
Applicants with all the following qualifications may be considered for admission into the National Diploma Programme:
AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY
UTME SUBJECTS: English Language, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science and any other science subject
O’LEVEL SUBJECTS: English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Agric. Science, Chemistry any other science subject
HORTICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY Same requirements as Agricultural Technology
FORESTRY TECHNOLOGY
UTME SUBJECTS: English Language, Biology/Agric. Science and any two of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Economics and Geography
O’LEVEL SUBJECTS: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics any other science subject
WOOD AND PAPER TECHNOLOGY
UTME SUBJECTS: English Language, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science, Physics/Mathematics
O’LEVEL SUBJECTS: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, Economics. At least passes in Physics, Biology/Agric. Science are compulsory.
COMPUTER SCIENCE
UTME SUBJECTS: English Language, Mathematics, and any two of Chemistry, Geography, Physics, Economics or Chemistry.
O’LEVEL SUBJECTS: English Language, Mathematics, physics, a basic science, and any of Biology/Agric. Science, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Government/History, Further Mathematics.
STATISTICS
UTME SUBJECTS: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Economic/Commerce, History/Government, CRS/IS
O’LEVEL SUBJECTS: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and any of Biology/Agric. Science, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Government/History, Further Mathematics.
HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND)
At least two (2) years Industrial Training for holders of pass grade and one (1) year Industrial Training for holders of Lower Credit grade and above. Applicants with all the following qualifications may be considered for admission into the Higher National Diploma Programme:
HND FORESTRY TECHNOLOGY
1) The minimum entry requirements for ND Programme in Forestry Technology.
2) The National Diploma with a minimum of lower credit pass in Forestry Technology.
HND AGRIBUSINESS MANAGEMENT
1) The minimum entry requirements for National Diploma in any agricultural programme.
2) The National Diploma with a minimum of lower credit pass in any agricultural programme.
HND AGRICULTURAL EXTENSION & MANAGEMENT
1) The minimum entry requirements for National Diploma in any agricultural programme.
2) The National Diploma with a minimum of lower credit pass in any agricultural programme.
HND HORTICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY
Applicants with the following qualifications may be considered for admission into the Higher National Diploma Programme in Horticultural Technology by direct entry:
1) The minimum entry requirement for the ND Programmme in Agricultural Technology, Forestry Technology or Horticultural Technology.
2) National Diploma with a minimum of credit passes in Agricultural Technology, Forestry Technology or Horticultural Technology.
HND CROP PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY
1) The minimum entry requirements for ND Programme in Agricultural Technology or Horticultural Technology.
2) The National Diploma with a minimum of lower credit pass in Agricultural Technology or Horticultural Technology.
HND WOOD TECHNOLOGY
1) The minimum entry requirements for ND Programme in Wood and Paper Technology.
2) The National Diploma with a minimum of lower credit pass in Wood and Paper Technology.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Application fee is ten thousand naira (N10,000). The fee is to be paid through Remita in the name of Federal College of Forestry, Ibadan.
Full-time ND candidates that sat for JAMB UTME do not need to obtain Application form. They are to do Change of Institution at CBT Centre, choose Federal College of Ibadan as School of first choice and send their results to the College. Those that did not write UTME and Part-time ND candidates can download Application form on the College Portal, fill the form and send it with copies of your O’level results to info@fcfibadan.edu.ng
Full-time and Part-time HND candidates can download Application form on the College Portal, fill the form and send it with copies of your O’level and National Diploma results to info@fcfibadan.edu.ng
